It’s Tuesday night in the NBA and we have another small slate to sink our teeth into with just 5 games in total. However, we do have a few interesting matchups on tap. The Timberwolves head down to Orlando to take on the Magic, the Grizzlies (now without Ja Morant for the remainder of the season) head to Dallas and the Lakers are hoping to string together wins with the new-look Raptors coming to town. You can check out our NBA picks for predictions on the side and total, but for now, let’s get into my favorite NBA player prop bet of the night!

Killian Hayes (DET) over 19.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-115)

Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

Cade Cunningham is out tonight and the Pistons should miss him greatly against this Sacramento Kings squad. For Killian Hayes, he gets inserted back into the starting lineup where he’s averaging 0.63 PRA per minute this season and should see a healthy amount of minutes. To hit this line he will likely need to see 32 minutes, which I feel confident in given the Pistons’ lack of initiators on this depth chart (Marc Sasser being the only other one on the roster).

According to Stat Muse, Hayes averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds in the last 15 games without Cunningham in the lineup dating back to last season. He becomes the initiator on offense and Jaden Ivey will likely play off the ball. Hayes’ shooting portfolio is primarily jump shooting in the mid-range, where the Kings allow the 8th-worst FG% on the season (43%). In the 8 games this season that Hayes has played 30+ minutes, he’s hit this line in 5 of 8 games (62%). We also get a solid three-point shooting boost at home for Hayes (+17%). I’m throwing 0.1 units on his double-double at +850 on FanDuel/Bet365 and 1 unit on this straight line.
