Today’s slate is in the running for worst of the season. Multiple injury questions and teams on back-to-backs makes this one tough to navigate, but Anfernee Simons is in a great spot to have an efficient outing against the Milwaukee Bucks. He headlines the slate as my top player prop bet of the night.
The Bucks took care of business last night at the expense of a depleted Jazz team as -8.5 favorites. Starters played heavy minutes, so we could see a late scratch from some of the core for Milwaukee. Nonetheless, the Trail Blazers are +5.5 underdogs at home, They are led by Simons, who has eclipsed this line in 6 of his last 10 games while averaging more than 15 field-goal attempts during that stretch. Scoot Henderson has moved to the bench along with Shaedon Sharpe. Simons has the green light in the starting lineup to hoist up shots, even with DeAndre Ayon likely to suit up and Jerami Grant whose volume is never guaranteed. Look for a healthy 33+ minutes for Simons in a game I expect the Trail Blazers to keep close.
