The Pickswise team are riding 5 straight winners heading into Thursday’s 6-game slate, with 2 games headlined on TNT including 76ers-Celtics and Knicks-Lakers. I’ve picked out my best NBA player props for tonight. You can also find out our expert NBA picks for the big games on Thursday, March 6.
Don’t miss our Knicks vs Lakers Best Bet
Trey Murphy (NOP) Under 25.5 points+assists (-121)
Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.
We had success fading Trey Murphy’s teammate, CJ McCollum, last game out, where McCollum recorded just 1 pts/rebs/asts in the 2nd half after a strong 1st half. We’re pivoting to Trey Murphy, who is having a career year in his 4th season but has a tough matchup in front of him versus the Houston Rockets.
Pick your poison in which Pelicans player to fade. Last game versus the Lakers was the best I’ve seen Zion Williamson play. He was virtually unstoppable going at the rim. Meanwhile, McCollum took a backseat, but I’d expect to see the ball in his hands more after a low-usage 2nd half that led to the Pelicans being outscored by 11. Murphy is just 3/19 from 3-point range over the last two games, so we’ll ride that train – Especially against a Rockets defense with elite perimeter defenders.
Mikal Bridges (NYK) Under 26.5 points+rebounds+assists (-118)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Mikal Bridges finds his way on our bingo card for our 2nd NBA player prop. This will be the 4th game since the All-Star Break that the Knicks starting lineup is full strength – Anticipating that OG Anunoby is good to go after finding himself on the injury report. We could see him miss tonight with a game tomorrow, but I’m all for fading Bridges tonight as the 4th-5th option against a Lakers defense that has been surgical since the break.
