In the midst of Opening Day and the start of the Sweet 16, the NBA presents a solid 8-game slate on Thursday night. There’s plenty to look forward to tonight across the entire sports betting board, but I’ve found my best NBA player prop bet that I hope will continue my 15-5 run! Let’s break it down, while you can also find out our expert NBA picks for today’s big games.

Jarrett Allen (CLE) Over 10.5 rebounds (-115)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are just a handful of games away from wrapping up the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Until then, I expect Jarrett Allen and company to be full go, especially if this game versus the San Antonio Spurs can stay close. The Cavaliers will be without Evan Mobley, who is taking a game off to rest but will likely play tomorrow night against a surging Pistons squad. In the meantime, we’re going to back Allen and the over of his 10.5 rebounding line – A mark he has surpassed in four of his last five games without Mobley.

The Spurs want to get out and run, as they’re playing at a top-14 pace over the last seven games – Right when D’Aaron Fox went down with a season-ending injury. The hope is that the Spurs can keep this game close, but I’m confident Allen can get to 11 rebounds even under 30 minutes.

Desmond Bane (MEM) Over 11.5 rebounds+assists (-115)

Odds available at Bet365 Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to be familiar with playing without Ja Morant. Morant hasn’t played in over two weeks, but Desmond Bane has stepped up in the facilitating category without the phenom. In the last game, Bane recorded six assists but had 16 chances in a 30-point blowout victory versus the Jazz. He played less than 30 minutes and was pulled at the 8-minute mark. Let’s hope for a much more competitive game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder in a game with a total of 240 points.
