Much like last Tuesday night, the Thursday NBA slate consists of just 5 games, with 3 teams on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back. However, there’s still plenty of value on the board, and I’m targeting the Rockets vs Grizzlies matchup as part of TNT’s doubleheader for my best NBA player prop bet of the day. Desmond Bane (MEM) Over 27.5 points+rebounds+assists (-105)

Desmond Bane has been a massive catalyst for why the Memphis Grizzlies sit at #3 in the Western Conference with a comfortable 3-game lead of the Nuggets slated in the #4 spot. Bane was sidelined for a 6-game stretch in early November but has put together 13 games of 20 points or more over his last 20 played. However, for tonight’s NBA player prop, we will add rebounds+assists to his points, as DraftKings is offering bettors a discounted line compared to other major books. Over 27.5 PRA is priced at -105, while some books have that number at 29.5.
Ja Morant is questionable heading into tonight, but he was present at shootaround and should be good to go. That leaves him with the Amen Thompson matchup, while Bane most likely gets matched against Dillon Brooks — a tough matchup. But the volume and usage for Bane continue to be encouraging, and in what is presumed to be a tight game, I’ll back the #2 option for a Grizzles offense that plays at the fastest pace in basketball. Bane has soared over this line in 14 of his last 20, and I like his chances of doing so again tonight.
