NBA

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. Last night we witnessed history as Nikola Jokic became the first ever player to record a 30-20-20 triple-double. It really shows that the NBA can deliver special moments on any given night, and the 8-game slate slate they have lined up for us on Saturday could be set to follow in those footsteps. The night will be capped off by a clash between historic rivals on ABC as the Boston Celtics take one the Los Angeles Lakers. The stage is set once more.

You can see our NBA previews, but first make sure to check out my favorite player props for Saturday below.

Stephen Curry (GS) Over 10.5 assists + rebounds (+110)

Stephen Curry has been the driving force that has propelled the Golden State Warriors to 8 wins over their last 10 games. But outside a highlight reel of spectacular shots, the superstar has also been contributing with assists and rebounds. He has hit the over on this line in 3 of his last 4 games and is currently averaging a combined 13.8 for these categories in March.

This will also be the second time he takes on the Pistons this season, with a 9 rebound and 6 assist effort in the first. With Jalen Duran having a size advantage in the paint for the Pistons, it will once again be up to players like Curry to step in and help the Warriors rebound the ball. The star guard also averages 6.7 assists per game in wins this season, up almost an assist per game compared to losses. I expect him to share the ball around early tonight to help get his teammates going, helping create space for him in the process.

Tari Eason (HOU) Over 1.5 made threes (+120)

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason has been an under the radar contributor for them this season, but his recent displays from beyond the arc deserve recognition. Over his last 6 appearances, he has hit at least 2 3-pointers in 5 of those games.  During that stretch, he has been making 48.3% of his 3-point attempts. That was perfectly evident in his last display against the New Orleans Pelicans, where he knocked down 4 of 8 attempts enroute to a 20-point night. Against the same opponent tonight, it’s hard to see a major drop off from him here.

Over the last 10 games no team have given up more 3-point attempts to opponents than the Pelicans. They also rank 28th in opponent 3-point makes. With the success Eason has been having, he should thrive once more here.

Zaccharie Risacher (ATL) Over 1.5 made threes (-120)

Number 1 overall pick in last years draft Zaccharie Risacher is really starting to find his feet in the NBA, especially when it comes to making shots from beyond the arc. While his 3-point percentage on the season is currently at 34.9%, he did up this to 44% through February. Considering he is making 56.3% so far in March, he is showing no signs of slowing down. It has allowed him to hit the over on this line in 7 of his last 9 games. This will also be his 3rd meeting against the Indiana Pacers this season. The rookie managed 3 3-pointers in each of the previous games. With the attention Trae Young will draw from the Pacers, the opportunities should be there for Risacher to continue showing off his improved shooting touch here.
