The NBA will bring us an 8-game slate to enjoy on Saturday. One of the standout games will see the Indiana Pacers visit the Milwaukee Bucks. The teams currently have identical records and are locked in a battle for the #4 seed in the Eastern Conference. That will be followed by the New York Knicks visiting the Golden State Warriors live on ABC, with the Warriors looking to extend their 6-game unbeaten run.
You can find our NBA previews. But for now check out my favorite player props for Saturday nights games.
Pascal Siakam (IND) Over 6.5 rebounds (-120)
Indiana Pacers star Pascal Siakam has hit the over on this line in each of his 3 games against the Milwaukee Bucks this season, including 12 rebounds in the latest contest. He has been one a good rebounding streak overall, managing at least 7 in 4 of his last 5 contests. With Brook Lopez spacing the floor and pulling Myles Turner away from the paint, Siakam will take on more responsibility pulling down misses.
Both of the sides have been impressive defensively, ranking 5th and 13th in defensive rating over the last 10 games. If both sides can force misses here, there should be more rebounds for Siakam to chase down. Siakam is averaging more than 7 rebounds per game this season so his recent streak should not come as a surprise. Look for him to continue that run.
Zion Williamson (NO) Over 23.5 points (-115)
So far this month Zion Williamson is averaging 23.8 points per game, and he could be set to easily exceed that tonight as he takes on the San Antonio Spurs. Over the last 10 games his opponents have been by far the worst defensive team in the NBA. They were in action last night, too, giving up 145 points to the Charlotte Hornets. Expect Williamson to be the driving force of the offense against a fatigued opponent.
Without Victor Wembanyama and with and an undersized Bismack Biyombo protecting the paint, the Spurs have been giving away paint points. Over the last 10 games they have ranked 28th in the league in opponent points in that category. Williamson is second in the league among players in paint points, averaging 18.8 per game. Against an opponent that is weak in that area, he should thrive.
