A six-game NBA slate on Saturday Night takes center stage. I’ve come up with two player prop bets for the action on Saturday, February 3, but in addition to that make sure you read our NBA predictions for the biggest games on the docket.
Josh Hart, SF, NYK, Over 13.5 Rebs + Asts (-113)

Backing anybody’s over on a Tim Thibodeau led team is a great idea – especially when starters see nearly 35 minutes every time out. Josh Hart fits that criteria, even with OG Anunoby questionable to play tonight. With Julius Randle out, Hart should be in line for another 35 minutes for the fourth straight game. Let’s dive into our top Josh Hart player prop bet against the Los Angeles Lakers at Madison Square Garden.
Hart is a threat to put up a double-double anytime he steps on the court. That doesn’t entirely mean he’ll get there with points, either. You can find his rebounds at 8.5 with vig on the over, while his assists line is set at 4.5. Instead of choosing just one, I am confident picking the combination of both, as he’s totaled over 13.5 rebounds + assists in four straight games.
Hart will be needed against the Lakers whether or not Anunoby suits up or not. The Knicks come into action as 4.5-point favorites and don’t have a game until Tuesday. Unless Hart gets the LeBron assignment, he’ll be in line to have a great day on the defensive glass, as he has the last three games without Julius Randle. During that span, Hart ranks in the top 10 in rebounds per game and second in the team in assist opportunities behind Jalen Brunson at 10. Expect another stat-suffering game from Hart on national television against his former team.

Paul Reed, C, PHI, Under 22.5 Pts/Rebs/Asts (-120)
Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.
It will be no secret what the Brooklyn Nets game plan will be on Saturday – stop Tyrese Maxey from scoring 50 points. Luckily for us, Paul Reed is virtually the 5th scoring option on offense, and the 76ers could return much of their depth tonight in Nicolas Batum and Marcus Morris. With Joel Embiid out, Reed will be in line for a bump, but he’s yet to see 30 minutes without Embiid this season.
The matchup between Nicolas Claxton and Paul Reed is one that I will be excited to watch to open the slate on Saturday at 6:00 P.M. E.T. It’s one that I have Claxton dominating. The Nets rank in the top 10 in points in the paint allowed. Another angle is Head Coach Nick Nurse going to KJ Martin more. Martin saw 26 minutes in the 76ers trip to Golden State two games ago, as the Warriors went with a small ball lineup, but was given just five minutes the next game. But Nurse is no stranger to switching things up. If Martin can provide solid backup minutes, he’ll see more run. Nonetheless, I have Reed staying under this line for the 11th time in 14 games without Embiid this season.
