The NBA brings us an 8-game slate on Monday night with some of the top teams in the league taking to the floor. Out west, Golden State will be looking to build on their lead at the top of the Western Conference standings in Warriors vs Clippers. Meanwhile, in the east, the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers will be hoping to turn their seasons around as they take on the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat respectively. You can find out our NBA picks for tonight’s matchups, but for now, let’s jump into tonight’s best NBA player prop bets.
Nikola Vucevic (CHI) over 9.5 rebounds (-120)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Chicago Bulls got blown out by the Houston Rockets last night. One benefit of that heading into today’s game against the Detroit Pistons is that starters like Nikola Vucevic played fewer minutes. The veteran center managed just 25 against the Rockets and should be rested and motivated enough for a bounce-back game tonight. Last season, he managed double-digit rebounds in 3 of the 4 games against the Pistons. Tonight’s hosts have not changed their personnel on the inside with Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart splitting the minutes at the 5 spot. With neither player being a threat from deep and Stewart giving up a height advantage, look for Vucevic to put in a dominant display on the glass on both ends of the floor.

Alperen Sengun (HOU) over 4.5 assists (-115)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be able to throw a lot of size at Alperen Sengun tonight in the form of Brook Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo. It should lead to the Turkish center spending more time away from the paint, where his abilities as a playmaker should start shining through. He has been in fantastic form in that regard, managing double-digit assists in each of his last 2 games. The Bucks have been subpar defensively this season, ranking 17th in defensive rating. They also rank in the bottom 10 in the league in opponent fast-break points per game. With the Rockets getting out and running, ranking 5th in scoring there, Sengun should have a chance to pick up a few assists from grabbing boards and launching fast breaks. With his vision in the half court too, look for his passing streak to continue.

Dyson Daniels (ATL) over 2.5 steals (-110)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Dyson Daniels has been forcing his name into the early Defensive Player of the Year conversation. So far this month he is averaging 4.4 steals per game. Last night was the first contest in 6 games in which he did not record at least 4 steals. And even then, he was just 1 short from hitting this over. He will be tasked with taking on a red-hot De’Aaron Fox tonight, who has scored a combined 109 points in his last 2 games. What is promising for this line is that Fox also combined for 10 turnovers in those contests. Daniels will draw the assignment of containing him tonight. Considering the usage that Fox should see with Domantas Sabonis being listed as doubtful, the Hawks guard should get the chance to pick his pocket on more than a few occasions.
