Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA brings another 11-game slate for us today. Despite being just several games in, we will already get to witness a rematch between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers made a dramatic comeback from 22 points down in the first game to hand the Suns their first loss of the season. This time the matchup will be in Phoenix, so let’s see if it leads to a different outcome. I’ve got a pick from that matchup, so let’s get into my best NBA player prop bets for Monday, October 28, while you can also find out all of our NBA picks for today’s games.

Bradley Beal (PHX) 3+ three-pointers made (+165)

Bradley Beal has so far settled into the role of a floor spacer for the Suns throughout 2 games. It is something he has had great success doing so far, making 7 of his 12 attempts from deep. He has managed 6 attempts in both of his first 2 games, but considering he is knocking down 58.3% of his shots, do not be surprised to see those attempts jump tonight. One of those early season games was against tonight’s opponent, the Los Angeles Lakers. His opponents tonight are 21st in the league so far in opponent three-point attempts per game. With Anthony Davis defending the paint for the Lakers, I cannot see the Suns turning away from attacking from the outside. Look for Beal to take full advantage.

Gradey Dick (TOR) over 13.5 points (-110)

The Toronto Raptors have been dealing with injuries to key starters Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett this season. The results of these have propelled Gradey Dick to be the second scoring option on the team. He has been answering the call so far, hitting the over on this total in 2 of the last 3 games. His last outing against the Timberwolves was his best yet, with Dick dropping 25 points. His opponent tonight will be a Denver Nuggets squad that just gave up 37 points to Norman Powell, allowing him to knock down 7 of 11 three-pointers. Considering that Dick is the main three-point threat in the Raptors’ starting 5, he should have similar success tonight. He should get no shortage of touches here, putting him in a great position to hit this over.

Dyson Daniels (ATL) over 2.5 steals & blocks (+115)

Dyson Daniels has been a defensive disruptor in the Atlanta Hawks starting lineup. He has been a perfect complement to Trae Young and has been averaging 1.3 blocks and 2.7 steals per game so far. Tonight’s matchup should be very favorable too. The Washington Wizards have been going with a starting backcourt of rookie Carlton Carrington and Jordan Poole. It’s a backcourt duo that seems susceptible to pressure and could be forced into turnovers. So far this season, the Wizards are 24th in opponent steals and 21st in opponent blocks. It should be a perfect opportunity for Daniels to continue his early-season defensive dominance. His early performances have been no fluke too. Last season he averaged 1.4 steals in just over 22 minutes per game. With him playing at least 34 minutes in 2 of the 3 games so far this season, he should have more than enough time to hit this over.

Scoot Henderson (POR) over 21.5 points+assists+rebounds (-105)

After some struggles in his rookie season, Scoot Henderson has gotten off to a much more promising start this time around. He seems to be thriving in a role off the bench and has been able to hit this over in 2 of the first 3 games, coming just one short in the other. Henderson is yet to find consistency shooting from beyond the arc. Luckily for him, his opponents tonight do not have much rim protection. The Sacramento Kings are 26th in the league in blocks per game. Domantas Sabonis is not going to be much of a deterrent on the inside. It should allow Henderson to play to his strengths. The sophomore is averaging 9 combined rebounds and assists so far too. With Sabonis being a handful as a rebounder, look for guards like Henderson to play a bigger role in helping on the boards. Expect another well-rounded performance from him here.
