We’ve got a massive 10-game slate on Friday night with plenty of marquee matchups, including a Lakers vs Nuggets game where LA is on a back-to-back and Luka Doncic’s status is in question. However, it’s the other team from Los Angeles that I’ll be focusing on for the first of my picks today. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bets for today’s action. In addition, you can also find out our expert NBA picks for the big games on Friday, March 14.

Kawhi Leonard (LAC) Over 23.5 points (+100)

Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Seeing Kawhi Leonard finally off his minutes restriction is excellent for the game of basketball. It’s even better when we can grab his points line at a slight discount compared to what other books are offering. Fanatics, DraftKings and Caesars have Leonard’s points line at a tick lower than other major books. So, we’ll gladly grab that in what looks likely to be a pace-up spot against an Atlanta Hawks defense that ranks in the bottom 10 in defensive efficiency in March. We can’t forget to mention that Leonard is fresh after sitting out of the 2nd leg of a back-to-back on Wednesday.

Darius Garland (CLE) Over 7.5 assists (-120)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Darius Garland enjoyed an 8-assist performance on Tuesday night without Donovan Mitchell. But it was his scoring in the 4th quarter that lifted the Cavaliers. He scored 18 points in the final frame alone. However, his points line has been bumped up as a result and I believe there is still value to be had on his assists line. With 6 assists in the first half of that Tuesday win, I like Garland’s chances of posting at least 8 tonight against a Grizzlies team that ranks 1st in pace and with a game total of 245.5 points — the most on the Friday slate by a wide margin.
