Jalen Johnson (ATL) Over 34.5 pts + rebounds + assists (-115)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Jalen Johnson’s jump from his rookie season and 2nd season to now has been remarkable. After leaving Duke early, not many expected Johnson to be this kind of player. He is averaging 20 points per game, hauling in 10 rebounds, and dishing out more than 5 assists per game. He is the clear #2 option to Trae Young, and from a scoring perspective he’s not that far off from Trae.
Johnson and the Hawks get a dream matchup against the Washington Wizards on Friday Night. The Hawks lead the loaded slate with a 125-point implied total. Johnson will be one of the main culprits in frying this Wizards defense and he has twice already this season gone for 48 and 42 points + rebounds + assists. In the last game without Young, Johnson totaled 40 PRA. Young will return to the lineup tonight, but Johnson has still surpassed this line in 5 of 11 with the all-star point guard on the floor. Look for a stat sheet-stuffing game from Johnson in this NBA Cup group play battle.

Alperen Sengün (HOU) Over 14.5 rebounds + assists (+102)
Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing
Alperen Sengün gets the same matchup he had just 2 days ago, when he crushed this rebound + assist line. He had 17 rebounds plus assists and 13 assist opportunities and 20 rebound chances. He is much needed in the paint against Ivica Zubac, who is having a career year for the Clippers.
Despite being benched on occasions by head coach Ime Udoka, Sengün has still soared over this line in 8 of 12 games. This same prop and number hovered around -125 on Wednesday night, so backing this at plus money is a no-brainer.
