It’s do-or-die for four teams on Friday Night. The Atlanta Hawks will host the Miami Heat, with the winner getting the honor to play the #1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers. On the West side, the Memphis Grizzlies will play host to the Dallas Mavericks, who looked dominant versus the Sacramento Kings. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bets for the Play-in Tournament on Tuesday, April 15. We’re currently on a 15-6 run with our NBA player prop picks, so let’s keep riding that momentum! Dyson Daniels (ATL) Over 25.5 pts/rebs/asts (-105)
Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing
Dyson Daniels will be lifting hardware in the next coming weeks with many anticipating him winning Most Improved Player. In the meantime, Daniels and the Hawks will look to survive and advance on Friday versus a Miami Heat team that throttled the Chicago Bulls in the 9-10 game.
Daniels will be a key catalyst for the Hawks if they want any part of postseason play. He’ll play upwards of 35 minutes in a game where the Hawks will desperately need his scoring and playmaking, but most importantly, his perimeter defense. Look for the Heat to send multiple bodies at Trae Young, with Davion Mitchell in particular being a pest.

Klay Thompson (DAL) Under 5.5 rebounds+assists (-115)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing
The Dallas Mavericks return of their three bigs – Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford, leaves Klay Thomspon in a tough position to rebound the basket – Not to mention the fact that the Mavericks played a 10-man rotation in the 1st half.
Thomspon found his shot in the 2nd quarter of their play-in game on Thursday Night, but from an assist and rebounding standpoint, this is a fine spot to fade him. He ranked 5th on the Mavericks in usage in that game, while Naji Marshall played a significant role and will continue to with how well he played on the defensive end.
