Super Bowl Sunday’s NBA slate is a small one, but I still have a player prop bet for you that we’ll look to cash before the big game starts. Let’s dive into my top NBA player prop bet for Sunday, February 11.
In addition to that, make sure you read our NBA predictions for the biggest games on the docket tonight.
Kevin Huerter, SG, SAC, Under 18.5 pts/rebs/asts (+100)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
If you’re familiar with my work, this one shouldn’t come as a surprise. I aim to target 4th-5th scoring options on teams whose work may be limited. Kevin Huerter fits that mold, as Huerter’s points prop is listed at 12.5 – 6th lowest on the Kings behind the starting unit and 6th Man of the Year candidate Malik Monk. Speaking of Monk, he has been on a tear off the bench. In his last five games, he’s averaging 21.8 points per game with a 27.7% usage rate.
Hueter has been quiet the last few games from a rebound + assist standpoint, so we’re adding those on. The last time he logged a usage rate over 20% was over a week ago, and he still stayed under this prop. With lethal shooters, we’re ultimately banking on Hueter having limited open looks and not knocking them down. Huerter and the Kings will be on the road today, where he tends to struggle. He’s shooting the 3-ball at a 34% clip on the road compared to 40% behind the Sacramento faithful.
FanDuel Sportsbook has this listed at 19.5 at -128. Instead of backing all that juice, I’m turning to the alternative line of under 18.5 PRA at +100, where I see much more value, even with a thin line.
