Week 15 in the 2024 NFL season kicks off with a huge NFC West showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. Both teams are looking up at the Seattle Seahawks in the division, with Los Angeles (7-6) currently 1 game back and San Francisco (6-7) pretty much in must-win mode every week from now on to even get a wild-card spot. With so much on the line in this divisional showdown, let’s get into my Rams vs 49ers Same Game Parlay picks for TNF, which gets underway at 8:15 pm ET on Amazon Prime Video. 49ers -3 (+100)
Deebo Samuel to record 60+ receiving yards (+135)
Kyren Williams to score a touchdown (-170)
Rams vs 49ers Same Game Parlay odds: +750
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is some of the plan here, as San Francisco receiver Deebo Samuel racking up plenty of yards would obviously work well with a win and cover for the 49ers. At the same time, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Los Angeles running back Kyren Williams to find the end zone. But even if he does, there is no reason why the Niners can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

San Francisco 49ers -3 over LA Rams (+100)
The 49ers got bogged down in the snow at Buffalo earlier this month, but they bounced back to completely blast the Chicago Bears amidst more normal circumstances in Week 14. San Francisco rolled 38-13 while out-gaining Chicago by an utterly ridiculous 309-to-4 margin in the first half. It was an encouraging performance without Christian McCaffrey, which is pretty much the life San Fran has been living all year long and will continue living the rest of the way.
The Rams are playing well, too, but this is a relatively 1-dimensional squad that is all offense and no defense. If the Niners’ defense comes to play (and Nick Bosa and Dre Greenlaw could be back), this is the more well-rounded team of the 2. The 49ers have won 9 of the last 11 regular-season meetings in the head-to-head series; don’t be surprised if they make it 10 of 12.

Deebo Samuel to record 60+ receiving yards (+135)
Deebo Samuel has not been getting the ball a ton in 2024 and has made no secret about his disdain over a lack of production. A since-deleted social media post wasn’t deleted fast enough, so everyone is well aware of Samuel’s griping. “Everyone” presumably includes Purdy, who will be delivering the ball in conditions that are expected to be sloppy. Although that points toward a run-heavy game script, quick passes to slot receivers are also a good idea. It is true that Samuel has been a non-factor of late, but he has reached the 60 mark 4 times this season and has come close to it 2 other times. The Rams rank 24th in the NFL against the pass and allow the 2nd-most yards per pass attempt, so the former South Carolina standout should be in line for a productive night.

Kyren Williams to score a touchdown (-170)
At the very least the field will likely be soaked; it could be a downpour during the game, as well. Whatever the case, keeping the ball on the ground for the most part would seem to be a prudent play. Regardless of the weather conditions, Los Angeles boasts a sizable advantage in the interior of the offensive line. San Francisco has allowed the 2nd-most rushing touchdowns in the NFL (19, tied with the Carolina Panthers), so Kyren Williams has every reason to score a TD on Thursday. These 2 division rivals faced each other in Week 3 and the Notre Dame product scored a whopping 3 times. Asking him to reach paydirt just once in this game should not be too much.
