Week 14 in the 2024 NFL season kicks off with a huge NFC North showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. Detroit (11-1) is looking to stay in control of the division and the race for the #1 seed in the conference, while Green Bay is not too far behind at 9-3. Needless to say, this is the most intriguing matchup of the entire week.
To say last week was one to remember for the Pickswise Nation is an understatement. We cashed FOUR NFL Same Game Parlays at +617, +612, +649 and +675 odds and now I’m looking to start Week 14 in the same way. Let’s get into my Packers vs Lions Same Game Parlay picks, which gets underway at 8:15 pm ET on Amazon Prime Video. You can also find out our NFL picks on the side and total for every game this week and throughout the entire season.
Lions -5.5 alternate spread (+115)
Amon-Ra St. Brown to score a touchdown (+100)
Amon-Ra St. Brown to record 80+ receiving yards (+135)
Packers vs Lions Same Game Parlay odds: +600
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. That is the entire plan here, as Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown scoring a touchdown and also racking up plenty of receiving yards would obviously work well with a big win for Detroit. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Detroit Lions -5.5 alternate spread over Green Bay Packers (+115)
The actual line is Lions -3.5. When you consider that NFL teams generally give 3 points merely for playing at home, oddsmakers are effectively treating these 2 teams as equals. I appreciate that this is a rivalry game in which the playing field is more level and the margins are generally smaller, but I’m still not seeing it. The Lions are simply a superior football team. They are 11-1 for a reason, and the Packers were made aware of that reason during a 24-14 home setback against head coach Dan Campbell’s squad on November 3. If Detroit can go into Lambeau Field and take care of business, what’s to say it won’t get the job done in MoTown? The Pack have not lost since that initial head-to-head meeting, but this stretch includes an unceremonious 20-19 win over the disappointing Chicago Bears. Give me Detroit to win by at least a touchdown on Thursday.

Amon-Ra St. Brown to score a touchdown (+100)
When you have an offense as prolific as that of Detroit’s, there are a lot of touchdowns to go around. Amon-Ra St. Brown has been the beneficiary of many – 9 to be exact. The USC product has found the end zone at least once in 8 of the last 10 contests. In his only previous appearance on primetime during this 2024 campaign, St. Brown scored once in a Monday Night Football victory over Seattle while catching all 6 of his targets. He now faces a Green Bay defense that has allowed 16 passing TDs and 7.3 yards per pass attempt.

Amon-Ra St. Brown to record 80+ receiving yards (+135)
Yards have not been quite as easy to come by as touchdowns for St. Brown so far this season. That being said, he has 820 through the air heading into Week 14 and thus figures to surpass the 1,000 mark no later than Week 16. The 25-year-old has surpassed 100 yards 3 times in 2024. He didn’t do it in the first matchup with Green Bay, but he had a productive day at the office that is even more impressive when you dive farther down than the box score. His 56 yards and 1 TD on 7 catches came in the Lions’ first outdoor game of the season in which the conditions were windy and rainy in the Frozen Tundra. The friendly confines of Ford Field should allow for St. Brown to finish with even better numbers at the expense of an opponent that is unspectacular in the department of passing defense.
