Another busy schedule is on deck in the NHL on Thursday with 10 teams battling it out on the ice. David Pastrnak gets us started in Long Island while we finish off the night with the leagues leading scorer taking on the struggling Canucks. Be sure to check out our picks for all of tonight’s NHL matchups.
But right now, let’s break down our three-team mega parlay:
Boston Bruins -1.5 (+200)
Nashville Predators ML (-155)
Edmonton Oilers -1.5 (+185)
Parlay odds: +1282
Boston Bruins -1.5 over New York Islanders (+200)
The Boston Bruins are coming off a dominating 7-3 victory in their recent outdoor game vs the Philadelphia Flyers. The site was something to see but so was the performance put on by David Pastrnak. Pastrnak potted three goals for his second hattrick of the year vs the Flyers. Pastrnak has quickly become one of the leagues best players and is off to another fantastic start to the year. He now has nine goals and 5 assists in nine games which has him leading the league in goals scored per games played.
The Islanders have taken the previous two games this season but if we look at a bigger sample size, we learn that Boston has taken seven of the last 10. It is hard to beat a team three consecutive times, especially one as well balanced as the Bruins. Look for Boston to get their revenge on the Islanders winning this one by more than one goal.

Nashville Predators over Detroit Red Wings (-155)
The Nashville Predators took care of business on Tuesday night with a 2-0 win over the lowly Detroit Red Wings. Nashville has now won two games in a row and have taken two of three from the Red Wings this season. The Red Wings have now lost four of their last five games and are showing no signs of improvement. Newcomer Thomas Greiss has done nothing to help the Red Wings and currently has just one win in his 14 starts. The Red Wings have not scored a power play goal in their last eight games and have a success rate on the year of just 6.4%. It should go without saying that is the worst in the league.
Nashville hasn’t fully turned the page on their season yet, but they should only need an average performance to take two points in this one. Look for the Predators Filip Forsberg and Roman Josi to be the difference makers and get the Predators their third straight win.

Edmonton Oilers -1.5 over Vancouver Canucks (+185)
The Vancouver Canucks blew a three-goal lead to lose to the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in regulation on Tuesday night. For a team that has now lost 10 of their last 12 games you would expect a little more urgency from the Canucks who wasted an opportunity to close out a win. The Oilers had far from their best game and were still able to come away with the two points. Edmonton has now won 10 of its last 12 games and is should have no problem improving those numbers versus this disappointing Canucks team.
Vancouver has had horrible goaltending all year long and continue to be the most penalized team in the league. Both of these things combined point towards a big night from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Look for the Oilers to win this one by two or more as Vancouver continues to look for answers.
