Indiana Pacers team total under 30.5 *1st Quarter (-128)

It feels kind of crazy to fade the NBA’s top scoring team in the first quarter over the last three games but that’s what should be done. The Pacers have scored at least 34 points in the first quarter of each of their last four games. They’ve played at the second fastest pace in the NBA in the first quarter in that span. So why fade them? Because they played the Thunder, Pistons, Magic and Trail Blazers in that span. Tonight they get the Nets who have only allowed one team to see the 30s in the first quarter in their last five games. Our parlay should be good after this.

Pelicans vs Thunder over 58.5 *1st Quarter (-120)

This one should be fun. Nobody will confuse the Thunder with a good team but they have been pretty electric in the first quarter lately. In fact, they are averaging 30 points per opening quarter in their last three games. That’s more than the New Orleans Pelicans during that span. Both teams are top-four in pace over the last four games in the first quarter so we should get an up and down start. On top of the fast pace, the Thunder are a “defense is optional” team so New Orleans has a shot at the high 30s. Our parlay will likely continue to be a thing after this one.

Milwaukee Bucks team total over 61.5 *1st Half (-116)

The Milwaukee Bucks are rounding into playoff form and that’s bad news for the Houston Rockets. The Bucks lead the NBA in first half points on the season averaging nearly 60 per contest. Over the last three games, no team in the NBA has given up more first half points than the Houston Rockets. Both teams have been playing at a top ten pace in the first half over the last four games which bodes well for a high scoring first half tonight. This has the look and feel of a game where Milwaukee dumps 70+ in the first half, then rests their starters in the fourth quarter. Perfect way to start a parlay.

Detroit Pistons team total over 25.5 *1st Quarter (-128)

The Detroit Pistons are nobody’s idea of a good offense but 25.5 is just a disrespectful line. On the season, they average 27.8 points per first quarter and they just hung 27 on the Hawks last time out. The last time they played Dallas, they dropped 36 in the opening quarter so there is that too. Luka Doncic is doubtful for this one and so is Dorian Finney-Smith. Look for the Pistons to approach 30 in the first quarter to breathe a little life into this parlay.

Denver Nuggets team total over 56.5 *1st Half (-102)

This one was a head scratcher as the Nuggets are a top ten offense in the first half while playing at the sixth fastest pace. The Raptors are a bottom third defense in the opening half which doesn’t hurt. Toronto will be without Fred VanVleet for this one so the deck is even further stacked in our favor. Over the last three games, the Nuggets are second in the NBA averaging 63.3 points per first half. If any game in the parlay before this one loses, just take this straight and at least put a little cash in your pocket for your time. It’s going to hit.
