NHL pick today: New Jersey Devils ML over Washington Capitals (-145), 7:00 pm ET
If you would have taken a poll of analysts and fans before the season asking which of these teams would be threatening to lead the Metro Division and who would be near the bottom, they’d likely have the teams flipped.
The Devils clearly realized their incredible potential for a deep run this season, as they traded for Timo Meier from the San Jose Sharks. He, Jack Hughes and the rest of New Jersey should be able to score plenty against a Washington team that has allowed 5th-most goals per game since the start of February. Even before their defense began to decline, the Devils torched the Caps 5-1 earlier in the season. Therefore, backing the Devils to take care of business again tonight will be the play.

NHL pick today: Dallas Stars ML over Buffalo Sabres (-150), 7:00 pm ET
The Stars head to Buffalo with a top-tier defense, while the Sabres welcome them in with an explosive offense. Dallas goalie Jake Oettinger has been strong all season, leading to the Stars 4th-best goaltending mark of just 2.63 goals allowed per game.
Buffalo’s offense on the other hand, has needed to put up goals in bunches, as they’ve allowed the most goals per game since February 1. With Dallas having a superstar goal-scorer themselves in Jason Robertson, they can certainly keep up with such poor Sabres goaltending.

College Basketball pick today: Arkansas Razorbacks ML over Auburn Tigers (-120), 7:00 pm ET
Auburn is 0-6 in its last 6 games away from “the Jungle”, with a few of those losses even coming as a favorite. The Tigers don’t shoot the ball well from the outside, especially on the road, so I don’t see positive shooting regression coming in a neutral court game against a stout defense.
Arkansas has lost 3 straight, creating a nice “buy low” spot for a team that could’ve easily knocked off Alabama in its last road game. The Razorbacks are 16th in adjusted defensive efficiency and create havoc on opponents by forcing turnovers and attacking the paint. If the Hogs are able to get Auburn’s guards out of rhythm, they’ll have a massive leg up in this one.

College Basketball pick today: TCU Horned Frogs -2 over Kansas State Wildcats (-115), 9:30 pm ET
TCU has looked like a much different team since the return of Mike Miles Jr. at point guard. They have already shown that they can knock off the likes of Kansas, Texas, Kansas State and Baylor, so this setting will not be intimidating for Jamie Dixon’s team. With Miles in the lineup, TCU knocked off Kansas State and its loss to the Wildcats was during a difficult road stretch where the Horned Frogs didn’t have the services of Miles or Eddie Lampkin Jr. While Lampkin will miss tonight’s game for personal reasons, TCU has a fully healthy Miles at the controls and should thrive in a track meet with this up-tempo Kansas State team.
