NHL: New Jersey Devils 3-Way ML over Philadelphia Flyers (-175), 7:07 pm ET

Tonight brings us a Metropolitan Division matchup, as the Philadelphia Flyers head 60 miles to take on the New Jersey Devils. The Flyers have performed in a manner that was expected by most, as they are sitting with a poor record of 9-14-7, which has them near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. They haven’t found a win since December 5th, and the wait should continue when this one is over. They are struggling at all aspects of their game, with low scoring, poor defense, and shaky goaltending.

The main issue for the Flyers will be the constant pressure and results from Devils offensive stars Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, and Jesper Bratt, who were all held off the score sheet in their previous game. For that reason, backing New Jersey will be the play.

NHL pick today: Toronto Maple Leafs 3-Way ML over New York Rangers (+125), 7:07 pm ET

Toronto has dominated their competition over the last 10 games– sporting a 9-0-1 record– while Mitch Marner continues to chase history. Toronto’s goaltenders have also combined to post 3 shutouts in the last four games. The Maple Leafs recently dominated Anaheim from start to finish and could very well hold a New York team ranked 19th in goals per game in check. For that reason, backing Toronto to win in regulation will be the play.

NBA pick today: Houston Rockets +4 over Miami Heat (-110), 8:10 pm ET

Houston has to be feeling as good as they have all season right now. They are on a 2 game winning streak and those wins are against Milwaukee and Phoenix. They have won 3 of 4, but have yet to win 3 games in a row this season.

Miami on the other hand, is still just 5-9 on the road this season. Playing with no rest has not been good for them either, they are just 2-3 SU and 1-3-1 ATS in that situation this season. With Miami feeling a little winded, backing the younger, hungrier home side to cover will be the play in this spot.

NFL pick today: San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks – Under 43.5 points (-110), 8:15 pm ET

Given how excellent the 49ers defense is and the questions they have at quarterback, it’s tough to side with anything but the under here. San Francisco’s defense has been outstanding all season long, ranking 2nd in team defense DVOA and getting to the opposing quarterback at one of the best rates in the league.

Geno Smith’s efficiency on the other hand, has plummeted in recent weeks, likely as a result of a much weaker Seattle running game. With Brock Purdy’s status up in the air, a low-scoring affair should be expected here.
