March Madness Sweet 16 pick today: Michigan State Spartans vs Kansas State Wildcats – Over 137.5 points (-110), 6:30 pm ET
Michigan State has cashed the under in 3 straight games in the postseason, after a 5-0 over run to close out the regular season. Michigan State went for 80 or more points in each of the final 4 regular-season games, while allowing 78 or more in 3 of the final 5 outings. With the way the Wildcats of Kansas State like to try and pick up the tempo, a higher-scoring game looks more likely tonight.
K-State is averaging 76.0 ppg in 2 NCAA Tournament games so far, and that’s right on par with the team’s 75.8 ppg average during the regular season. This team has cashed the over in 4 of the past 5 games overall, and it continues to produce very consistent results. March Madness Sweet 16 pick today: UConn Huskies -4 over Arkansas Razorbacks (-110), 7:15 pm ET
UConn is possibly the most underrated team in the field, and many may forget they were ranked #2 in the country after a 14-0 start. They cooled off a bit towards the middle of their season but have found their footing once again, winning 11 of their previous 13 games. They rank 3rd in adjusted offensive efficiency and have the X-factor with Adama Sanogo. Sanogo is averaging 26 points through the 1st two games of the tournament and can give any team nightmares. While Arkansas has some elite guard play from Ricky Council IV and Nick Smith Jr., backing the Huskies will be the play tonight as Arkansas is going to have issues with the size of Sanogo.

March Madness Sweet 16 pick today: Tennessee Volunteers -5.5 over Florida Atlantic Owls (-110), 10:00 pm ET
The Volunteers of Tennessee really struggled against 13-seed Louisiana in the opening round, barely escaping 58-55. The books had Duke installed as the favorite in the second round by three points, but Tennessee used its physical play to take down the Blue Devils 65-52.
In four games in the postseason, Tennessee has picked up three wins, allowing 55 or fewer points in the victories. The Vols used defense to roll to 22 wins in the regular season, and are 8-2 ATS in the past 10 games with a total of 131 or fewer points. Because of their defense, backing the Vols to cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Winnipeg Jets 3-Way ML over Anaheim Ducks (-140), 10:00 pm ET
Tonight sets up to be the perfect spot for the Jets to really gain some confidence and momentum. The Ducks’ defense has been dreadful, and they were recently handled 5-1 by the Calgary Flames. They’ve allowed at least 4 goals in 4 of their last 5 games, which includes 4 to the NHL-worst Columbus Blue Jackets.
Winnipeg has plenty of skating talent that can exploit that terrible defense. Kyle Connor is a volume shot-taker to put pressure on opposing goaltenders, while Mark Scheifele is 2 goals away from a 40-goal season. Winnipeg is 2-0 against Anaheim this season, with both wins in regulation, and we expect the same this time around.
