Sunday’s slate in the NBA is a massive one with 10 games coming our way. My focus is on the final game of the night between the Thunder and Timberwolves as they clash for the 3rd time this season. My same game parlay for that game is available below, but don’t forget to also check out our NBA Picks page for selections on Sunday’s 10-game slate. Let’s dive into my Thunder vs Timberwolves SGP bet now.

Chet Holmgren to Score 20+ Points (+285)

Naz Reid to Record 8+ Rebounds (-174)

Same Game Parlay odds: +426

Chet Holmgren to Score 20+ Points (+285)

Getting Chet Holmgren back from injury couldn’t come at a better time for the Oklahoma City Thunder as they look to ramp up the big man as we approach the final stretch of the regular season. We all know how good Holmgren is and can be for this team, his last game against the Utah Jazz showed us that he is well on his way to returning to being the 2nd most productive player on offence behind SGA for the Thunder. Holmgren had 20 points in the convincing win, that was his best output since returning from the hip injury that cost him the last 2 months or so of the regular season. Going up against the Minnesota Timberwolves will be a challenge, however with no Rudy Gobert down low to bother him  Holmgren’s two biggest threats on defense will be the likes of Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels, both of which he towers over easily. Holmgren’s biggest strength is the fact that he can always step outside the three-point line if he’s unable to have his way down low. The T’Wolves are allowing 37.6% threes to be made in their last 3 games, so hopefully Holmgren can punish them in a variety of ways in Sunday’s game.

Naz Reid to Record 8+ Rebounds (-174)

There will be plenty of rebounds to grab for the Minnesota Timberwolves in this game, with Rudy Gobert being out of the line-up, dealing with a back injury. In his absence Naz Reid has really stepped it up in the rebounding department, upping his average to 10 boards per game in the last 7 outings. That’s quite the jump from his usual 5.7 rebounds a night he averages for the season, but as the Timberwolves struggle to find size on the interior, Reid will be forced to once again battle with the likes of Holmgren and Hartenstein down low. That’s not necessarily a bad thing – he has shown to be able to hold his ground against taller players. Reid is actually averaging 7.4 rebounds per game in head-to-head meetings vs the Thunder over the past 5 games, which is a respectable number considering Gobert took part in most of those games. OKC allows the 4th highest number of rebounds per game this season at 54.7 a night, with that number going up to 56.3 per game in their last 3 outings. I wouldn’t be shocked if Reid went into double-figures once again here on the glass, but let’s opt for a more conservative approach and back him to get at least 8 rebounds.
