Alabama -33 over South Florida (-110)
90% of Pickswise users selected Alabama with Call It
Data correct at time of publishing on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm ET.
As we mentioned in our Hottest Public Teams for Week 3 article, it’s no surprise that Alabama is a team a lot of people want to tail this week. ‘Bama did not look great in last week’s surprising loss to Texas, but that’s probably bad news for South Florida in all actuality. Going up against the Crimson Tide when they are angry can’t be the best situation in the world. The Bulls have already suffered a 17-point loss this season and that was to Western Kentucky. A massive 92% of Call It picks are going for Alabama.

Notre Dame -34.5 over Central Michigan (-110)
89% of Pickswise users selected Utah with Call It
Data correct at time of publishing on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm ET.
The public has been loving Notre Dame in the early stages of the season and it continues in Week 3. We have crunched the Call It numbers and 89% of Pickswise fans are backing the Fighting Irish to cover against Central Michigan. And why not? Notre Dame has won all 3 of its games by at least 3 touchdowns, including last weekend against N.C. State (45-21). Tight end Holden Staes had 4 receptions for 115 yards and a 2 touchdowns in that game. The Chippewas are unlikely to contain the Sam Hartman-to-Staes connection.

Penn State -14.5 over Illinois (-110)
84% of Pickswise users selected Penn State with Call It
Data correct at time of publishing on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm ET.
Hammering big favorites proved to be profitable in Week 2 and the trend is carrying into this weekend. Among those plays is Penn State to beat Illinois by more than 2 touchdowns. Head coach James Franklin’s team went 11-2 in 2022 and defeated Utah 35-21 in the Rose Bowl, so it had a lot of momentum heading into 2023. The Nittany Lions are showing no signs of slowing down and Illinois probably isn’t the opponent that will stop their surge. The Call It voters are all over Penn State, with 92% going in that direction.

Florida State -26 over Boston College (-110)
83% of Pickswise users selected Florida State with Call It
Data correct at time of publishing on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm ET.
The public (83% to be exact, per the Call It numbers) likes Florida State to cover a bloated -26 spread against Boston College. It seems like anything under 4 touchdowns (and perhaps even more) should be manageable for the Seminoles. QB Jordan Travis is tied as the second favorite to win the Heisman Trophy (+900 at DraftKings Sportsbook), trailing only USC quarterback Caleb Williams. Through 2 games Travis has thrown for 517 yards with 6 touchdowns and 1 interception. He should light up Boston College.

Arkansas -8 over BYU (-110)
82% of Pickswise users selected Auburn with Call It
Data correct at time of publishing on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 pm ET.
Let’s round out this Call It parlay with the smallest favorite of the quintet, as Arkansas is giving “only” 8 points to BYU. With this relatively small spread the public is more than happy to roll with the SEC in this particular matchup. As of Friday, 82% of Call It voters are throwing support in favor of the Razorbacks. They have blown out two lesser opponents and now face a mediocre BYU squad. It feels like a double-digit margin is going to be the result of this game.
