We have put together a list of some of the best Super Bowl specials and odds boosts that can be found at FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook. We’ll discuss whether or not they are worth playing.
Joe Mixon to score at least 1 rushing touchdown and at least 1 receiving touchdown – +1900 at FanDuel Sportsbook
We are starting this off with a big one — +1900 odds, to be exact. Can Joe Mixon do it? It’s not out of the question. The former Oklahoma star was awesome in the regular season, with 16 total touchdowns (3 of the receiving variety). Although Mixon has scored only once in the playoffs, his receiving numbers are encouraging: 13 catches on 15 targets for 106 yards through 3 games. It’s not like a TD through the air on Sunday is entirely unrealistic. That being said, our NFL expert has Los Angeles and the under in this game. That doesn’t correlate with a lot of Cincinnati points, of course, so this is probably a special that should be avoided.

Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow to combine for 550+ passing yards and 5+ touchdowns – +260 at FanDuel Sportsbook
Matthew Stafford threw for 703 yards in the last 2 NFC playoff games, but he has tossed more than 2 TDs only once in the last 7 contests. Joe Burrow has 4 touchdown passes through 3 playoff games. That isn’t an average that inspires confidence in this special, and now he has to face a vaunted Los Angeles pass rush. Again, the under is our play in this game and therefore it is hard for us to see the 2 QBs racking up 5+ touchdown passes. Odds of +260 probably aren’t enough.
Rams and Bengals to each score at least 1 rushing touchdown and at least 1 passing touchdown – Boosted from +330 to +400 with FanDuel Sportsbook
It is true that we have the under, but 4 touchdowns and even 5 would not necessarily be too many. And why can’t they come in 4 different forms (2 each for the 2 teams). Obviously, you have to think both Stafford and Burrow will throw for at least 1 TD apiece. Now, can both teams score on the ground? As mentioned earlier, Mixon has been delivering a whole host of rushing touchdowns. I also expect Los Angeles to run the ball early and often with Cam Akers and Sony Michel in an attempt ton control the clock. Thanks to a boost to +400, this looks like an enticing play.

Bengals to win, Joe Burrow to throw for 260+ yards, and Ja’Marr Chase to score a touchdown – +600 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Bengals are +170 underdogs on the money line. If they do pull off the upset, chances are good that it means Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase have a great game. Naturally, the former Heisman Trophy winner throwing for a fair amount of yards and his former LSU teammate finding the endzone correlate nicely with a Cincinnati victory. If you are a Bengals supporter and willing to take a bit of a risk, I like this +600 play more than the +170 money line.
Rams to win, Matthew Stafford to throw for 290+ yards, and Odell Beckham Jr. to score a touchdown – +500 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Similarly, a Stafford and Odell Beckham Jr. combination of success works great if you are on the Rams. Los Angeles is -200 on the money line; now you can get the NFC champs at +500 if Stafford goes for 290+ and OBJ scores at least once. It’s worth thinking about, but I don’t think it’s as good of a play as the Bengals’ special. L.A. can definitely win this game even if Stafford and Beckham Jr. don’t put up big numbers. Cincy probably needs Burrow and Chase to do so. I would avoid this particular bet.
