The 2021 NBA finalists are both going through a rough stretch right now, and they will meet for the second and final time this season on Tuesday in Milwaukee. I have prepared a +441 Same Game Parlay for this occasion.
You can catch the game live from 7.30 pm ET on TNT. Also get predictions on the side and total for Tuesday’s slate on our NBA picks page, but now let’s dive into my Suns vs Bucks bet!
Brook Lopez to score 20+ points (+350)
Devin Booker to score 25+ points (-194)
Same Game Parlay odds: +444
Brook Lopez to score 20+ points (+350)
For a bet that has cashed 3 times in the last 5 games we are getting a staggering +350 odds. And I am here for it. Lopez has stepped on offense quite a few times this year, and they will need another bigtime performance from the experienced center if they want to get one over the Suns on Tuesday. Lopez is averaging 15 points per game in his last 10 outings, shooting 62% from the field while also knocking down 1.5 3-pointers per game on an impressive 41.7%. Damian Lillard going down with his blood clot issue is a massive handicap for Milwaukee, not just for Tuesday’s game but also for its entire postseason run. The addition of Kyle Kuzma has been decent, but he has failed to meet expectations in terms of consistently stepping up as the secondary fiddle behind Giannis Antetokounmpo in Dame’s absence. This matchup has been kind to Lopez over the years; he has scored at least 20 points in 3 of the last 5 meetings while averaging 17.2 ppg. The Suns are thin at the center position, the last 3 centers that faced them scored 16, 17 and 30 points. Fingers crossed Lopez can do something similar.
Devin Booker to score 25+ points (-194)
With Kevin Durant out of the lineup due to a sprained ankle, it is time for Devin Booker to remind us all how impactful of a scorer he can be. Booker has mostly refrained from scoring this season as the team attempted to use him more as a playmaker to get others going. As a result, his scoring average is slightly down compared to previous seasons — but that doesn’t mean he has forgotten how to score. He just had 28 against the Rockets a couple of days ago. The Suns’ hopes of making the play-in tournament are now solely in his hands, as both KD and Bradley Beal remain out. Booker is averaging 25.6 points per game against the Bucks in the last 10 meetings, and during this stretch he has put up an average of 22.5 field-goal attempts per game. I wouldn’t be shocked if that number went up to the 25-28 range on Tuesday. Phoenix ranks only 16th as far as bench scoring goes; the Big 3 just hasn’t gotten enough help this season, and that’s one of the main reasons why the Suns are outside the play-in tournament right now. Booker won’t go out without a fight, though, so expect a ton of shots from him in this game.
