Blues -1.5 (+150)

Blue Jackets ML (+160)

Rangers ML (-135)

Parlay Odds +1131

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

St. Louis Blues -1.5 over Chicago Blackhawks (+150)

The St. Louis Blues are headed into Chicago on a 3-game winning streak. In their most recent meeting the Blues won 5-1. They match up well against their divisional opponent in Chicago, and tonight should be another easy victory for them. Goaltender Jordan Binnington is fresh off of a 25 save win, he should have some momentum heading into this evening’s game. The Blackhawks are scoring 2.4 goals per game — the fewest in the entire western conference. They’ve also won just three games in their last 10 games. Chicago isn’t a very good team, while the Blues are trying to cement themselves into a playoff spot. These 2 teams are trending in opposite directions, and the Blues easily handled them in their last meeting. Take STL on the puck line tonight.

Columbus Blue Jackets ML over Pittsburgh Penguins (+160)

The Pittsburgh Penguins are playing the tail end of a back-to-back on the road. Their game yesterday against the New York Rangers resulted in a 1-0 win where goaltender Tristan Jarry stood on his head. With Jarry sidelined for tonight’s game, Casey DeSmith is expected to start for the Penguins. He’s only appeared in 10 games this season and is allowing a 3.08 GAA and .899 SVP. With a fatigued team in front of him, it’s hard to imagine DeSmith puts on a similar performance as Jarry last night. The Blue Jackets have been surprisingly good this last month. They have won 7 of their last 10 games and are averaging 4.1 goals per game during that stretch. In the Penguins’ 10-game span, they have averaged just 2.7 goals.

With 30 games left for Columbus, they are fighting for a playoff spot. Despite being 10 points back with 2 games in hand, they are going to battle down the stretch. Pittsburgh may be fatigued from yesterday, and the Jackets desperately need to win for the standings. Take Columbus on the money line.

New York Rangers ML over Vancouver Canucks (-135)

The Rangers are coming off of a disappointing 1-0 loss yesterday. Tonight should be a completely different game with 2 high-flying offenses, the matchups the Rangers thrive in. Artemi Panarin has 12 points over his last 10 games for the Rangers. Playing on the second line has exposed him to much easier matchups, and that should happen again tonight. The Canucks don’t have many defensively sound depth wingers, and with how well Panarin has been playing, that’s bad news for Vancouver. The Rangers are 17-4-3 on home ice this season while the Canucks are just 13-12-3 on the road. The Canucks are coming off of an emotional 7-1 victory on Thursday night, but it’s hard to imagine they have a repeat performance. The Rangers are the much better team, so don’t overthink this one. Take the Rangers on the money line.
