Sunday's Best Super Wild Card Weekend Player Prop Bets including Amon-Ra St. Brown and Dak Prescott

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (14) is introduced before the game against the Chicago Bears at Ford Field.

It’s not the normal massive Sunday slate of games, but what we lack in quantity we make up for in quality. The first game of the day features the Steelers against the Bills in Buffalo followed by the Packers and Cowboys in Dallas before ending the night with the Rams and Lions in Detroit. I’ve found three player prop best bets for Sunday’s Wild Card action, and be sure to also check out our NFL Wild Card predictions.

Mason Rudolph, QB, PIT, Under 155.5 passing yards (-114)

It’s looking like there will be not one but two winter storm games during Wild Card Weekend. Kansas City is projected to be freezing with wind chill, and the forecast for Buffalo has gotten drastically worse. A winter storm watch has been issued for Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, and there will be gusts of wind up to 65 MPH. If that wasn’t enough, the forecast also projects for snow storms to be in the area. Buffalo could get up to a foot of snow on Sunday afternoon. With that in mind, I don’t see how Mason Rudolph gets to 100 passing yards. Last week against Baltimore he attempted just 20 passes and failed to reach 155 yards. I’m expecting Mike Tomlin to take the ball out of Rudolph’s hands for the majority of the game.

Dak Prescott, QB, DAL, Over 275.5 passing yards (-114)

I’m going back to the well with this one. Dak Prescott averages more than 303 passing yards per game at home this season. Let’s take a look at his passing yards in his last few home games: 345, 271, 299, 331, 404, 304. He has passed this number in 5 of the last 6 home games and continues to be an MVP candidate on his home turf. Plus, Prescott will be facing a Green Bay secondary that could be without its best player, Jaire Alexander. The only way I don’t see Prescott reaching this number is if the Cowboys are up big in the second half and they choose to keep the ball on the ground. However, I’m still confident that he could get to this number in just 3 quarters if the Cowboys play the way they usually do at home.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, DET, Over 87.5 receiving yards (-114)

Amon-Ra St. Brown has solidified himself as one of the best wide receivers in football. In the last 4 weeks he has totaled 144, 90, 106 and 112 receiving yards. He is the most dangerous offensive threat that the Lions have, and fortunately for them this game will be played indoors (and at home). Detroit’s offense becomes much more reliant on the passing game when indoors, and St. Brown is a big part of that. In 11 games inside this season he has 144, 90, 106, 112, 49, 95, 77, 156, 108, 102 and 102 receiving yards. That’s 90 or more receiving yards in 9 of 11 indoor games. Plus, the Lions will be facing a Rams defense that has one of the worst secondaries in football.
