EPL pick today: Manchester United ML over Nottingham Forest (-140), 11:30 am ET
Some betters may be keen to fade the Red Devils given they have lost 3 of their last 4 Premier League road games, but with Casemiro back from suspension and Christian Eriksen fit again, there’s enough quality in the United lineup to expose a Forest team that is on its knees after dropping into the relegation zone following a winless run of 9 games. Forest has posed very little threat to United in this season’s 3 previous meetings in the league and EFL Cup, so backing Manchester United to win will be our play.

MLS pick today: Los Angeles FC ML over Los Angeles Galaxy (+120), 4:30 pm ET
The Los Angeles Galaxy have been hopeless this year, failing to win any of its 6 games, and it is hard to see the home team getting anything from this matchup with its more successful Californian rivals. While the Galaxy have yet to win in MLS action, LAFC remains unbeaten with 4 wins and 2 ties in 6 league games. Therefore backing LAFC to win will be our play.

The Denver Nuggets took their foot off the gas pedal as soon as April hit since they finished the regular season with just 2 wins in 7 games. Their starting 5 has gotten a lot of rest during that stretch, and that strategy could pay off as we get deeper into the postseason.
The Minnesota Timberwolves, on the other hand, finished the season with just the 16th-best defensive rating in road games; the Nuggets had the 2nd-best offensive numbers at home, averaging 119.9 points per 100 possessions. Game 1 is usually a feel-out game, but our play will be for the Nuggets to cover given the mismatch between these 2 teams.
