NFL pick today: Philadelphia Eagles -6.5 over Indianapolis Colts (-110), 1:00 pm ET
The Eagles really struggled last Monday night and their run defense was exposed by a Commanders team that forced the run down their throats every step of the way. The Colts will almost certainly try a similar game-plan, but the Eagles are likely to make the necessary adjustments to counter. From there, you can expect them to work over a middling Colts pass defense with the trio of Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The loss of tight end Dallas Goedert will hurt, but probably more in regard to the run than the pass. The Eagles are in a clear bounce back spot, therefore backing them to cover will be the play.

NBA pick today: Phoenix Suns -6 over New York Knicks (-110), 3:40 pm ET
The Phoenix Suns have the joint-best home record in the Western Conference with 7 wins from 8. Tonight, they will welcome the New York Knicks who have had a tough start on the road with a 4-5 record.
The Suns are 3rd in the league in offensive rating and should have success against a Knicks defense that ranks in the bottom third of the league. The absence of leading shot-blocker Mitchell Robinson should allow Deandre Ayton and the rest of the Suns to have success scoring in the paint. Considering that the Suns are also in the top 10 in 3-pointers made and 3-point percentage, their offense could be tough for the Knicks to stop. With the visitors 29th in true shooting percentage and 27th in offensive rating when playing on the road, backing the Suns to cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Pittsburgh Penguins 3-way ML over Chicago Blackhawks (-145), 7:05 pm ET
After a 7-game losing streak that began in October, the Pittsburgh Penguins have rebounded and posted a 4-2-1 record since. They hold themselves to a high standard and realize their cup-winning potential is running out as they have a veteran group.
Chicago on the other hand, is a rebuilding group with minimal expectations, and there isn’t much to like from their team on a night-to-night basis. As the higher-quality team, the Penguins should be able to win in regulation and extend their win streak to 3 games.

College basketball pick today: Houston Cougars -7 over Oregon Ducks (-105), 9:30 pm ET
The Houston Cougars are deep and talented. Remember that this is the team that lost two starters last season within days of each other, and still put together a tournament run anyway. Those two guys—Marcus Sasser and Tramon Mark—are both back this season, and they are not alone. While the Cougars are unproven so far this season in the eyes of many, don’t overlook a victory over a talented Oral Roberts team.
Houston appears to be a complete team that is already in rhythm, and Oregon looks like a team that is very talented and dangerous, but is still figuring some things out together. Expect a few minutes where that becomes a problem for the Ducks, and back the Cougars to cover tonight.
