The Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves in primetime again, but hitting the road for the first time this season to Las Vegas (-2.5) to take on the Raiders. Both teams are 1-1 through two weeks, but opinions are forming fast. Las Vegas was steamrolled by Buffalo in Week 2 after winning a close game against Denver in Week 1. The Steelers had the unfortunate schedule of opening up against San Francisco and then a defensive showdown against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. Let’s see if we can find some player props that stand out.

Pat Freiermuth (PIT) over 31.5 receiving yards (-110)
Line available on Bet365 at the time of publishing.
Finally, the Steelers get a winnable matchup on offense. Freiermuth has struggled through the first two weeks registering just two catches on the season, but one going for a touchdown. This Raiders defense is exactly what he needs to get back on track. Through two games, Las Vegas allowed 7 catches for 56 yards vs Denver and 8 catches for 53 yards vs Buffalo against tight ends. Diontae Johnson will not return until after the bye week, and this is a spot I expect the Steelers offense to show some life. Last season, Freiermuth hit this line in 12/15 (80%) games. I won’t overreact to two weeks of top 5 defenses for Pittsburgh and expect Freiermuth to get more involved Sunday night. 1.5U

Jaylen Warren (PIT) over 2.5 receptions (+110) / over 47.5 rush + receiving yards (-115)
Line available on Bet365 at the time of publishing.
This one is cut and dry for me. Warren has hit this in both games to start the year and saw a slight snap increase last week (% wise). He’s seen 6+ targets in two games which is a great sign of his role in this offense and we could see this expand as the season progresses. Samaje Perine logged 4 catches and 37 yards in Week 1 vs Las Vegas, while James Cook logged 4 catches for 36 yards in Week 2 against the Silver and Black. In addition to the 2.5 receptions at +110 for 0.5U, I’m also playing the over 47.5 rush + receiving yards -115 on Bet365 for 1U. I’m convinced that Warren sees his role expand this week and we finally get that 50/50 split between Harris and Warren.
