Dallas Stars ML over Edmonton Oilers (+140)

The up-and-down play of Edmonton goaltender Stuart Skinner has been a storyline this postseason. After struggling in the first 2 rounds, Skinner has turned aside 80 of 86 shots in this series — which is good for a save percentage of .930. However, consistency has plagued him so far this postseason, and Dallas should come out firing to put the pressure on Skinner early. Despite their recent offensive struggles, Dallas is still capable of getting to Skinner. They can still score in bunches, which was evident in this series when they exploded for 5 goals in the third period of Game 1. They are still a veteran team that shouldn’t be rattled and they are led by a seasoned coach in Pete DeBoer, who is in the Western Conference Finals for the 6th time in 7 years. Look for Dallas to even up the series tonight.

Mikko Rantanen anytime goalscorer (+170)

Mikko Rantanen has totaled 21 points so far this postseason, scoring 9 goals and dishing out 12 assists. He is having a historic postseason run, but he has now been held without a goal in 6 straight games. Needless to say, he is due. He is still creating plenty of chances and putting pressure on his opponents, along with seeing plenty of ice time on Dallas’ top line and top powerplay unit. After being out-scored 9-1 over the past 2 games, the Stars will be looking for their top performers to produce in Game 4. That means Rantanen should be playing with a bit of an edge. Expect Rantanen to come out aggressive in search of his first goal since Game 3 of the 2nd round against Winnipeg on May 11.

Jake Oettinger Over 26.5 saves (-122)

Dallas goaltender Jake Oettinger has been shaky in this series. However, he still owns a .906 save percentage to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average in the postseason. He hasn’t faced a ton of shots in this series, but Edmonton will probably come out aggressively in the offensive zone. Smelling a potential 3-1 lead, the Oilers will be looking to put the pressure on. Oettinger is capable of putting together a better performance than we have seen so far in this series, which could result in a high save total.
