The Oklahoma Sooners looked good on the offensive end against Houston in their first game, but on defense they showed they still need to make some big improvements. For South Dakota, they are an FCS level team that opened up the season against Montana losing 31-17. In this game the Sooners are sitting right around 39 point favorites, and this feels like an easy call, it’s the Sooners. The one thing that does concern me is when they take their foot off the gas. If they are up 28 at halftime do they take it easy and rest guys? I am still confident that the Sooners will cover, but that is why this is a two-star play, instead of a three-star play.
Over Under Pick
The total in this game is set at 75, and the play is with the under. The Sooners defense didn’t look good in game one, but this is an FCS level opponent and I think their front will overpower the Coyotes’ offensive line. The Sooners should score at least 50 in this game, and I don’t see the Coyotes scoring more than 10, which makes the game go well under. Back the under to cash in this one.
