Newcastle ML over Southampton (-250), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Until Bournemouth upset Newcastle at St. James’ Park last Saturday, the Magpies were on a 9-match winning streak, and Eddie Howe’s team can be expected to get back to winning ways this week. Southampton are detached at the bottom of the EPL standings and the club is probably already planning for life back in the Championship. Newcastle, with Alexander Isak one of the most dangerous forwards in the league, should torment the Southampton defense at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Liverpool ML over Ipswich (-1150), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Backing Liverpool to beat Ipswich on Saturday will not make you rich, but the league leaders can be used as part of our EPL parlay to enhance the return. It is difficult to imagine any other result than a home win. Arne Slot’s team knows that dropping points at home to clubs as limited as Ipswich would greatly encourage the teams lurking just behind them in the title race. There is no reason to believe Liverpool will slip up. Ipswich were crushed 6-0 by Manchester City last week and face another mauling at Anfield.

Crystal Palace ML over Brentford (+105), 9:00 am ET, Sunday

2 London teams can be used on Sunday to bring home our EPL parlay, starting with Crystal Palace. The Eagles have been enjoying a wonderful winter, going 5 matches unbeaten and winning their last 3 games. They can be trusted to defeat Brentford at Selhurst Park. Palace have gone 3 games without conceding a goal and are threatening to move into the top half of the table, leaving relegation fears behind them. Brentford have a superb home record but can be brittle on their travels, so Palace’s hot form should continue.

Fulham ML over Manchester United (+135), 11:30 am ET, Sunday

Relatively new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly castigated his players after their meek 3-1 loss to Brighton at Old Trafford last week. Team spirit appears low on the red side of Manchester as the new boss threatens a dramatic overhaul of the squad. United’s hopes of getting anything from their Sunday trip to Fulham have been dented by a Thursday-night Europa League meeting with Rangers. With not much time to recover before facing a Fulham team that has lost just 1 of their last 11 games, a home win looks likely at Craven Cottage when the Red Devils visit the capital.
