Aston Villa picked up a big win in their Champions League clash with Young Boys on Tuesday and they can repeat the trick when they face rivals Wolves back in the English Premier League. The Villans have won 3 of their 4 league matches this season and face a Wolves team that are in poor form as of late. Gary O’Neil’s team has lost 3 of their 4 games in the EPL and have conceded 11 times in that run. The visitors lost 3-2 to Brighton in the EFL Cup in midweek and their struggles look set to continue here. Villa’s forward duo of Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran is one of the best in the top flight and they can further increase the woes of their rivals.
Manchester United ML over Crystal Palace (+135), 12:30 pm ET, Saturday
Crystal Palace have made a poor start to their 2024-25 campaign, taking just 2 points from 12 available at this early point of the season. The Eagles are missing Michael Olise, who moved to Bayern Munich this summer, and speculation surrounding their star defender Marc Guehi seems to have affected his form. They face a Manchester United team that has bounced back from defeat against Liverpool with a 3-0 win over Southampton and a 7-0 victory against Barnsley in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. The Red Devils will be riding high after those results and they look likely to pick up another win on the road.
