Aston Villa ML over Leicester (-135), 10:00 am ET, Saturday
Unai Emery’s Aston Villa won their opening road game of the season 2-1 at West Ham United. That was a hugely impressive success at a tough ground to visit and Villa look set for more road joy when they make the short journey to Leicester. Emery has created a team that sets up superbly away from home, where the pace and power of England international Ollie Watkins can be used to great effect. Villa should outclass their hosts in all departments of the pitch and can secure victory at the King Power Stadium.
Brentford ML over Southampton (-135), 10:00 am ET, Saturday
Brentford have had to do without Ivan Toney this season as the England forward sorts out his future plans, but Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa have stepped up a gear in Toney’s absence, leaving the Bees looking an excellent side. Brentford continued their bright start to the season with an EFL Cup success at Colchester on Wednesday night and defensively the Londoners are looking extremely solid. It is difficult to see struggling Southampton troubling them at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday and a home win seems likely.

Fulham ML over Ipswich (+130), 10:00 am ET, Saturday
Ipswich Town seem woefully ill-equipped for the EPL and the Tractor Boys could be in for another rude awakening on Saturday. They have to pick up points against the league’s lesser-lights if they are to have hope of staying in the Premier League, but even Fulham seems likely to prove too good. Morale sunk further at Ipswich on Wednesday night when the team were dumped out of the EFL Cup by humble AFC Wimbledon. Months of struggle seem to lay ahead for Ipswich. Fulham, who won 2-0 away at Birmingham on Tuesday, are fresher and much more confident than their Saturday hosts.
Manchester City ML over West Ham (-270), 12:30 pm ET, Saturday
Manchester City did not have to enter the EFL Cup at the second-round stage, so they have not played a competitive match since crushing Ipswich 4-1 last Saturday. The fresh and hungry champions can be expected to maintain their perfect start to the season by beating West Ham. The Hammers eventually found a way past Bournemouth in their EFL Cup meeting on Wednesday, scoring a fortunate winner in the 88th minute, but it was a lackluster performance. They will need to step up several gears if they are to trouble the imperious City.
