Liverpool vs Bournemouth both teams to score (-130), 10:00 am ET
There’s no doubt Liverpool looked dangerous in their Premier League opener at Chelsea, but it was probably more striking just how open the Reds looked in defense. Jurgen Klopp’s side were fortunate to come away with a point on Sunday and there was a gaping hole in the Liverpool midfield. Virgil van Dijk looks like a player on the downgrade and the Reds’ defense seems shaky no matter who is paired alongside the Dutch defender.
Bournemouth have been busy in the summer after Andoni Iraola took over in the dugout, with Hamed Traore, Alex Scott, Milos Kerkez, Romain Faivre, Justin Kluivert and Max Aarons all joining for hefty transfer fees. The Cherries were the better team when drawing 1-1 with West Ham in their opening game and they can at least get on the scoresheet in this matchup.
Tottenham ML over Manchester United (+180), 12:30 pm ET
It’s a period of change for Tottenham with star striker Harry Kane departing for Bayern Munich. However, Spurs performed well without the England skipper at Brentford, scoring two goals, and the future may be bright under new manager Ange Postecoglou. There appears to be more chance of Spurs defeating Manchester United in London than the odds indicate.
The Red Devils looked well off the pace against Wolves on Monday and that’s becoming a recurring theme for Erik ten Hag’s side. With Spurs holding home advantage and likely motivated to perform in their first game of the campaign in front of their fans, take Tottenham to secure all three points.

Manchester City are back in action just four days after lifting the Super Cup at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Greece, and there’s no doubt that Pep Guardiola would have been hoping for a kinder game on their return. The Citizens were very good when beating Burnley 3-0 on the opening day, but star midfield man Kevin de Bruyne has since picked up an injury and both Ruben Diaz and John Stones were dealing with knocks in midweek.
Newcastle crushed Aston Villa 5-1 in a rampant opening matchday display and the Magpies can find the net in what could be a high-scoring clash.
