Brighton -1.5 over Luton (-115), 10:00 am ET
The mismatch in quality and finances favors Brighton, who finished 6th in the EPL last season, and the Seagulls are more than capable of repeating those efforts this season. Brighton earned their first European qualification thanks to their slick play in possession and despite selling Alexis Mac Allister in the summer to Liverpool, have been able to replace stars when losing them previously thanks to a strong data analysis team in the back office, led by owner Tony Bloom who also happens to be a professional gambler.
Luton earned promotion through the Championship playoffs in a penalty shootout success against Coventry but they lack the depth and talent to compete in the EPL. Brighton were wide-margin winners over Liverpool and Chelsea, and Luton could be in for a difficult first 90 minutes, with Albion taken to win by at least two goals.
Fulham ML over Everton (+230), 10:00 am ET
Everton narrowly escaped relegation last season and they have not improved enough in the transfer market. The Toffees seem set for a dogfight unless Dominic Calvert-Lewin stays healthy. Fulham gained four points against Everton and were a comfortable mid-table team last season with head coach Marco Silva up for this game more than most given he was previously sacked by the Toffees.
Fulham should be backed to avoid defeat even with star player Aleksandar Mitrovic refusing to play as he attempts to force a move to Saudi Arabia. Silva has remained and they have spent big on Calvin Bassey from Ajax this summer as well as bringing in striker Raul Jimenez.

Newcastle vs Aston Villa both teams to score (-140), 12:30 pm ET
These teams played a 6-goal preseason thriller on US soil recently, showcasing their attacking talent and it can pay to bet on both teams to score once more.
Newcastle and Aston Villa will look to build on last season’s successes which saw both qualify for European competition, and there is clear ambition which saw the Magpies recruit Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes in the offseason, while Villa went big on Mossa Diaby. Eddie Howe’s Newcastle are always strong at home, but Villa have scored in 25 of their last 27 matches and can play their part in an open, entertaining matchup played in front of a noisy St. James’ Park crowd.
