The stakes are high on this Easter weekend at both ends of the English Premier League standings as the EPL rolls out the red carpet once again for Frank Lampard. The former Chelsea and England captain, sacked by Chelsea 2 years ago, has been hired by the club’s American owner Todd Boehly to succeed Graham Potter, and Lampard starts with a trip to Wolves.

Leicester ML over Bournemouth (-115), 10:00 am ET
Few saw Leicester, EPL champions just 7 years ago, being stuck in a relegation battle, a situation that this week cost head coach Brendan Rodgers his job. Adam Sadler is in as the interim manager until the owners find a successor to Rodgers, which means he takes charge of this crunch clash with another relegation-threatened club in Bournemouth.
Sadler needs to get prized assets James Maddison and Harvey Barnes on the ball more and that would likely do the job against a Bournemouth team that has lost 9 of their last 10 on the road.
Chelsea ML over Wolves (+100), 10:00 am ET
Frank Lampard is back at Chelsea to try to save their season after Todd Boehly’s Graham Potter gamble was finally put to bed this week. The choice of Lampard to succeed Potter until the end of the season is odd given Lamps was himself fired by the club 2 years back. That was pre-Boehly of course and the American believes Super Frank can inspire a box-office finish to the season. And he should be able to win his comeback game against Wolves.
No one doubts the players at Chelsea – it’s a world-class roster. Lampard just needs to get them firing and they’ll be too hot for the one-dimensional Wolves.

Aston Villa ML over Nottingham Forest (-160), 10:00 pm ET
Villa changed head coaches a while back with Unai Emery replacing Steven Gerrard in October and the Birmingham-based club has not looked back. The Spaniard has won 10 of his 18 games in charge and can make that 11 of 19 by masterminding the downfall of Forest. Forest have scored only 5 goals in 14 road trips and that level of strike record won’t fill Villa with any level of fear.

Brighton ML over Tottenham (+170), 10:00 pm ET
If there’s a left-field winner on the Saturday slate then it could be Brighton against Tottenham – except that so good are Brighton this season and so poor are Tottenham that a road win for the Seagulls would barely even register as a shock right now. Brighton are unbeaten in 11 road games as they head to North London to take on a Tottenham side who have won just once in six.
