Chelsea tie no bet over Newcastle (-104), 10:00 am ET
Newcastle have been strong at St. James’ Park this season, winning 5 of their Premier League matches with the only blip coming against 10-man Liverpool, who scored 2 late goals to steal an unlikely 2-1 win. Saturday’s visitors Chelsea should be confident of a positive result at Newcastle, whose roster is depleted by injuries and suspensions. Two of the Magpies’ key men, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, were on international duty with Brazil this week so may not be at their sharpest and Chelsea is heading in the right direction under Mauricio Pochettino.
The Blues won 4-1 at Tottenham before a dramatic 4-4 tie at home to EPL champions Manchester City and Pochettino’s men, who have scored 16 goals in their last 6 games, should be backed with the tie no bet.
Both teams to score in Luton vs Crystal Palace (-108), 10:00 am ET
Luton were expected to struggle back in the EPL this season but the Hatters start the weekend outside the relegation zone, thanks to Everton’s 10-point deduction. Last season’s Championship play-offs winners have posed a consistent goal threat in the top division and both teams to score has been a winning bet in 4 of their 5 home games.
That includes an impressive 1-1 tie against Liverpool in their most recent game at Kenilworth Road and there may well be goals at both ends when Crystal Palace visit on Saturday. Both teams scored in the first 5 minutes of Palace’s last league fixture, a 3-2 home defeat to Everton, and, while the Eagles have some talented attackers, their defense has conceded 9 goals in 4 games.
Bournemouth ML over Sheffield United (+120), 10:00 pm ET
Sheffield United have banked only 5 points from 12 games since returning to the EPL and they may not be able to add to that tally against Bournemouth this weekend. The Cherries went into the international break in good form, beating Burnley and Newcastle either side of a 6-1 defeat at Manchester City, and they should be too strong for their hosts at Bramall Lane.
Bournemouth have conceded 17 goals in 5 road games this season — defeats to City, Liverpool, Brighton and Everton and a 2-2 tie at Brentford — but they should stand firm against the Blades. The home team poses a limited attacking threat and, barring penalties and own goals, United have scored only 5 goals in 12 league games this term.
