Manchester City ML over Southampton (-950), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

No team has scored more goals in the Premier League this season than Manchester City, while only one team in the division has conceded more than Southampton. Saints fans will be traveling to the Etihad Stadium quite rightly fearing this could be an embarrassing mismatch. Expect City, who thrashed Sparta Prague 5-0 in their midweek Champions League workout, to show no mercy to their lowly visitors on Saturday. Erling Haaland has gone 3 EPL games without a goal, so the Norwegian will be hungry to find the net from the off.

Brentford ML over Ipswich (-150), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

It is probably only a matter of time before Ipswich Town are dragged back into the relegation zone – and the Tractor Boys may struggle to earn any points from their trip to London on Saturday. Ipswich have failed to win any of their opening 8 games of the Premier League season, but they have battled to 4 ties. Oddsmakers clearly believe the East Anglians have a fair chance of getting something at Brentford, but the Bees seem solid investments. All 10 of Brentford’s points this season have come at home and they have scored 14 goals in 5 home matches across all competitions. Given Ipswich have suffered some injuries in defensive areas, a Brentford triumph appears likely.

Brighton ML over Wolves (-170), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Wolves are currently bottom of the EPL standings and look set to suffer further woe on Saturday when they head south to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton. The home team has scored 11 goals in their last 5 matches, regaining confidence in attack, and that spells bad news for Wolves. No team in the league has conceded more goals than Wolves, who have been breached 23 times. Evan Ferguson looks set to spearhead the Brighton attack and Wolves may struggle to contain the young Irish international.

Aston Villa ML over Bournemouth (-120), 10:00 am ET, Saturday

Aston Villa fans have been in dreamland this season, reveling in the Champions League glory of their team, and super-focused manager Unai Emery is rapidly becoming a legend in the Midlands. Emery has masterminded 3 Champions League victories, including the defeat of Bayern Munich at the start of this month, and Villa will fear nobody in the months to come. Bologna were dismissed at Villa Park on Tuesday and Bournemouth may get the same treatment at the same stadium on Saturday. Villa are 4th in the Premier League and oozing self-belief.
