Arsenal win in shutout over Crystal Palace (-108), 7:30 am ET, Saturday
Arsenal host Crystal Palace on Saturday morning and this should be a comfortable contest for the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s men have lost 3 games in a row, but the performance in the latest of those losses against Liverpool was good and Arsenal should click back into gear here after a week off. Palace were dumped out of the FA Cup at Everton on Wednesday night and an intense midweek cup game on the road doesn’t look like ideal preparation for a trip to north London.
The Eagles have won only 2 of their last 15 games and have scored only 10 goals in their last 10 games. Arsenal should win Saturday’s clash without conceding.
Sheffield United or tie double chance over West Ham (-160), 9:00 am ET, Sunday
West Ham have lost only 3 of their last 15 games in the EPL and they would appear to have a good chance of taking 3 points at Bramall Lane. However, Sheffield United will no doubt think that this is a game they can win as they bid to move out of relegation danger, and the Blades look good value to take something against the Hammers.
West Ham fielded a strong team when losing 1-0 at Bristol City in the FA Cup on Tuesday night and that doesn’t look good preparation for the trip to south Yorkshire. Chris Wilder has faced defeats to Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester City since he returned to Bramall Lane, but this looks a far more winnable opportunity for Sheffield United to make their mark.
Bournemouth or tie double chance over Liverpool (+110), 11:30 am ET, Sunday
Liverpool head to Bournemouth on Sunday and this looks like a contest that is ripe for an upset. The Reds are a fantastic team capable of blowing the opposition away on their day, but they have frequently looked vulnerable this season. Jurgen Klopp’s men were fortunate to beat Arsenal in the FA Cup and the Reds have only won 5 of their last 11 road games. Bournemouth are progressing nicely and have lost only 1 of their last 9 games. They look capable of avoiding defeat at the Vitality Stadium.
