Two teams who are in the Premier League relegation zone meet at Portman Road on Saturday and Ipswich Town look likely to win the battle. Southampton are rooted to the EPL standings, 10 points behind their Saturday hosts, and the Saints are highly likely to be playing Championship soccer next season. Ipswich, though, can still have high hopes of getting out of trouble and 3 points against Southampton could be crucial in that quest. Ipswich have been struggling against top-class opposition lately, but they are superior to Southampton.

Tottenham had Thursday-night Europa League commitments and their squad is not big enough for many players to be rested. Spurs meet Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon and they could be struggling with fatigue in the closing stages. At that point, the Bees may be swarming all over them. Tottenham are languishing just outside the relegation zone, which is hugely embarrassing for their head coach and fans. Brentford are a formidable team at home and should be able to add to Spurs’ woes by claiming 3 points on Sunday.

Champions Manchester City travel to Arsenal on Sunday, showing signs of recovery after a struggling period, but the Citizens will be facing a team that has been consistently impressive for months. Arsenal are worthy favorites to beat Man City.
