Jets ML (+105)

Bruins -1.5 (+250)

Flames -1.5 (-115)

Parlay Odds +958

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Winnipeg Jets ML over the Edmonton Oilers (+105)

In last seasons playoff’s, the Winnipeg Jets seemed to have the Edmonton Oilers number. In an earlier matchup this season, the Oilers managed to pull off a 2-1 victory, but the Jets will be looking for some revenge tonight. In last years playoff’s, the Jets won in four straight games and easily shut down Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Right now, both teams are entering this matchup on a winning streak, this line is undervaluing how well the Jets have been playing recently. If anything, this line should be a pick ‘em, and the Jets have home-ice advantage.  The Oilers have started to turn the corner and have looked more competitive, but they still have a serious question mark in the net. As for the Jets, their goaltending should win them this game. Connor Hellebuyck seems to play his best hockey against the Oilers. In two games against them this season, he’s 1-0-1 only allowing three goals on 66 shots against. These are his best numbers against one opponent this season, and after a disappointing OT loss in their last meeting, he’ll be looking for revenge. Take the Jets on the money line.

Boston Bruins -1.5 over the Ottawa Senators (+250)

Bettors shouldn’t overthink this one. As the season is coming down to the last stretch of games here, every game is important for the teams on the playoff bubble. The Bruins will be doing everything they can to win this one, on the schedule this would be circled as an easy two points. Although the Bruins are missing their best player in Brad Marchand, the Senators are missing even more key players from their lineup. With Thomas Chabot out, they’re missing their No. 1 defenseman who logs 27 minutes a night, the second-most minutes in the entire league. They’re also missing two of their best young forwards, Josh Norris and Drake Batherson. With these three key players out of the lineup, it’s tough to imagine the Senators can keep up. Their line matching will be off and they could end up playing catch up for the entire game. In their most recent matchup earlier this month, the Bruins walked away with a 2-0 victory. Take them on the puck line.

Calgary Flames -1.5 over the Seattle Kraken

This is one of the biggest mismatches of the night. The Calgary Flames are currently playing like the best team in the league and are getting contributions from everyone in their lineup. They’ve won eight games in a row and have covered the spread in six straight games. The Kraken on the other hand have lost two games in a row and have lost six of their last 10 games. It’s hard to imagine the Kraken keep this one close. The Flames have been getting elite-level goaltending from Jacob Markstrom, who is currently posting a 21-10-5 record with a 2.21 GAA and .927 SVP. He is leading the league with eight shutouts, which accounts for more than 10% of the leagues’ total shutouts… Read that one again. He’s been dominant this season and will likely end up as a Vezina finalist for goaltender of the year. In their most recent matchup, the Flames beat the Kraken 6-4. Expect a lower scoring game with a similar result on the spread. Take Calgary on the puck line.
