Devils ML (+155)

Hurricanes -1.5 (+190)

Kings -1.5 (+115)

Parlay odds +1590

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

New Jersey Devils ML over Washington Capitals (+155)

The Washington Capitals are playing in a tail end of a back-to-back tonight. Last night’s game against the Buffalo Sabres went to a shootout, with the Caps winning 4-3. They are an extremely skilled team, but they have been playing down to their opponents as of late. Tonight, against the New Jersey Devils, they might be in trouble. The Devils have been playing some impressive hockey as of late, defeating teams like the New York Rangers, Colorado Avalanche, and St. Louis Blues in their last 10 games. They have been surprising these playoff-bound teams, and they’re likely to do the same again tonight. Regardless of any home-ice advantage tonight for the Capitals, they will be fatigued from last night’s game — especially from playing in Buffalo yesterday. The last time these teams met the Devils won 4-3. Bettors are getting great value for this matchup, so take New Jersey on the money line.

Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 over St. Louis Blues (+190)

The Carolina Hurricanes have a No. 1 seed to protect right now. Playing a wild card-team in the playoffs would give the ‘Canes a great chance to move on, so games like tonight are extremely important for the standings. The St. Louis Blues have been seriously underperforming over their last 10 games. They’ve won just three games in that stretch. They’ve been getting terrible goaltending as of late and some of their offense is starting to dry up. The Hurricanes are the best team in the league defensively, and they should be able to limit the Blues’ offensive production tonight. The Canes are allowing just 2.38 goals per game. Additionally, Carolina has the fourth-best faceoff percentage. If they can control the puck possession tonight and limit the Blues to under three goals, the Hurricanes should run away with this game. Whether it’s an empty-netter that seals it or a blowout performance, take the Hurricanes on the puck line.

LA Kings -1.5 over Seattle Kraken (+115)

The Los Angeles Kings are one of the biggest surprises of the season. They’re currently seeded as the second seed in the Pacific Division, and tonight should be an easy two points for them. The last time the Kings and Seattle Kraken met, the Kings defeated them 3-1. Seattle is just 9-20-3 on the road this season and 4-13-0 against Pacific Division opponents. They’ve been an underwhelming expansion team this year and the Kings should build on their playoff positioning tonight. One of the Kraken’s main struggles is offensive production and scoring in key moments. They’re averaging the fourth-fewest goals per game with the third-worst powerplay in the league. Meanwhile, the Kings are one of the best defensive teams — holding opponents to the seventh-fewest goals per game and the fewest shots on goal per game. Don’t overthink this one; take the Kings on the puck line.
