Manchester United have got their new head coach – though he won’t be around this Saturday to see his new team in action.

Erik ten Hag, who is the current head coach of top Dutch team Ajax until the summer, has accepted the job at Old Trafford which looks a tricky one in the wake of their 4-0 humiliation at Liverpool on Tuesday night.

United kick off the weekend’s EPL action at Arsenal, and we have a bet from that matchup as part of a 4-game parlay to hopefully see you successfully through Saturday’s slate. It pays ??? odds with ???.

Arsenal ML (+105)

Leicester vs Aston Villa both teams to score (-154)

Manchester City ML and over 3.5 goals (+105)

Norwich vs Newcastle tie (+230)

Parlay odds: +2187

Arsenal ML over Manchester United (+105), 7:30 am ET

It’s hard to believe United could be much worse than they were on Tuesday night at Liverpool – yet the bitter truth is they have been worse this season, and could be yet again.

Up against a team full of energy and fight they can’t cut it – and Arsenal are certainly up for the fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League, which would qualify them for next season’s Champions League.

Arsenal were 4-2 winners at London neighbors Chelsea on Wednesday and are playing some nice, bright soccer. But it’s the desire which gives them a massive edge against United here.

Leicester vs Aston Villa both teams to score (-154), 10:00 am ET

Aston Villa have had 14 days to prepare for this short trip to Leicester. As for Leicester, they’ve had just three days and have their minds on other things.

Leicester are into the Europa Conference League semi-finals – they play Roma next Thursday – and that has to be the only thing governing coach Brendan Rodgers’ thinking going into this match.

So Villa will be certainly fresher and coach Steven Gerrard, effectively forced out of Liverpool seven years ago by Rodgers who was then his boss at Anfield, would love to put one over on his old manager. It’ll be fiery, Leicester legs will get weary, and there could be goals scored by both teams.

Manchester City ML over Watford and over 3.5 goals (+105), 10:00 am ET

Watford head coach Roy Hodgson has been determined to improve his team defensively, just as he did with former club Crystal Palace.

But they’ve not had a shutout in six, conceding 15 goals in the process, and even though he’ll string as many players as possible across the defense, Premier League leaders City will surely break them.

City were held up by a very decent Brighton side on Wednesday, being held to a 0-0 tie at the break. They eventually won 3-0 as their pressure told and Watford face a similar fate. Expect a City win and plenty of goals.

Norwich vs Newcastle tie (+230), 10:00 am ET

Newcastle head for Norwich on a 3-0 run, those nine points securing their place in next season’s Premier League.

They’ll be confident they can finish with a big display at Norwich, who are bottom of the EPL and needing a miracle to stay up.

Newcastle played only on Wednesday so Norwich should be fresher, and they’ve shown some spirit in recent matches. The last two Premier League matches between these clubs have ended in draws – back the tie hat-trick.
