EPL pick today: Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United – Over 2.5 goals (-110), 10:00 am ET
West Ham finally rediscovered its scoring touch with a much-needed 4-0 Premier League win over Nottingham Forest, but the Hammers can expect a tougher test at Brighton.
Brighton’s last 3 games have been uncharacteristically low-scoring, with a 1-0 home win over Bournemouth followed by a 1-1 tie at Crystal Palace and a 1-0 loss to Fulham. Before that run, Brighton’s previous 9 league games had all produced at least 3 goals and over 2.5 could cash again in this game. The Hammers will be desperate to add to a tally of just 3 points from the last 10 EPL road games, so a lively game is expected.

NHL pick today: Tampa Bay Lightning vs Buffalo Sabres – Over 6.5 goals (-125), 12:30 pm ET
Don’t look now, but the Sabres are inching up the Atlantic Division standings and are just 1 spot behind the Lightning. All 3 of their meetings this season have gone over the total, with the most recent 2 each finishing with 11 goals. That has been the theme of the year for the Sabres, as they score the 3rd-most goals per game and have allowed the 2nd-most since the start of 2023. Because of the recent meetings between these teams producing a ton of goals, backing the over looks to be the best play tonight as well.

College basketball pick today: TCU Horned Frogs -2 over Oklahoma Sooners (-110), 3:00 pm ET
TCU is the far superior team, so I will happily give such a small about of points, even on the road. After all, the Horned Frogs already boast wins at Baylor, at Texas Tech (last Saturday) and a 23-point beatdown of Kansas inside Phog Allen Fieldhouse. It’s safe to say this program knows how to win in hostile environments.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma is a horrendous 4-13 in the Big 12 and has lost 3 of its last 4 at home. All 3 of those recent losses have come by double digits, too. The first meeting between these teams resulted in a 27-point win for TCU, so backing them to win will be the play.

MLS pick today: Seattle Sounders ML over Real Salt Lake (-160), 10:30 pm ET
Seattle missed out on a place in the MLS playoffs last year but came back with a bang in its 2023 opener against Colorado, winning 4-0. The Sounders looked razor-sharp in that matchup and should be able to make it 2 wins in a row at the expense of Real Salt Lake.
