EPL pick today: Brentford +0.5 over Liverpool (+165), 12:30 pm ET
Brentford has caused plenty of problems for the top Premier League teams this season and Liverpool is no lock to beat the Bees at Anfield this afternoon. Liverpool labored in recent home wins against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham and needed a Mo Salah penalty to tip the balance in their favor in another Anfield clash against Fulham on Wednesday. A free midweek has allowed Brentford to prepare for the trip north too, therefore backing Brentford to at least get a point will be our play.

NHL pick today: Edmonton Oilers ML over Vegas Golden Knights (-125), 7:10 pm ET
The Oilers stayed in the first game thanks to the goalscoring ability of Leon Draisaitl, who netted all 4 of his team’s goals. The Oilers’ power play was also a huge factor, going 2-of-3. Another positive for the Oilers is they outhit the Golden Knights 46-27, showing they want to establish a physical presence in this series. The Oilers cannot afford to go down 2 games, therefore look for McDavid to have a breakout game and for the Oilers to even this series with a win tonight.

MLS pick today: New York City FC ML over Charlotte FC (+165), 7:30 pm ET
With only 2 wins in their first 10 games, Charlotte has been struggling in this year’s MLS and should be faded again at home to New York City. The Big Apple team has beaten Nashville and Dallas in 2 of its last three games to sit 9 places above Charlotte in 5th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Because NYCFC has shown much better form recently, backing them to pick up all 3 points will be our play.

NBA pick today: Los Angeles Lakers -3 over Golden State Warriors (-110), 8:30 pm ET
Game 3 is a tricky one to predict after the first 2 games of this series were vastly different from one another. However, now is the time the Lakers to make an adjustment and respond to the Warriors pace from Game 2. Los Angeles has the 2nd-best defensive rating in home games this postseason, so backing them to bounce back with a win and cover will be our play.
