Real Madrid vs Manchester City best bet: Man City ML & both teams to score (+270)
Real Madrid have won all 5 home games in the Champions League this season but they face their toughest test yet in this semifinal first leg with Manchester City. Celtic, Liverpool and Chelsea are among those to leave the Santiago Bernabeu empty-handed but City head to Madrid as favorites to win the English Premier League, the FA Cup and this competition. It’s a case of the haves against the have-nots here as the 14-time European champions put their title on the line against the team who arguably crave it the most in City. The English champions are solid favorites to qualify for the final, and having not lost a game since February 5, are expected to steal a march in this tie with a win in the Spanish capital.
Real won’t go down without a fight, and they are rarely beaten in this competition, but City look on a different level to anyone, having won 17 of their last 20 games in all competitions. Madrid’s form has been slightly more patchy, but with the La Liga title all but gone, it is likely they have had an eye on this contest and last Saturday’s Copa del Rey final with Osasuna. Goals often flow when these two teams meet, so a City win with both teams scoring looks the best bet.
