I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. While we’ve been hot with our Same Game Parlay picks for the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs, we fell a leg short in the one for Game 5 between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers. However, we get to try and bounce and keep the good times rolling with Game 6, so let’s get into our best Rangers vs Panthers Same Game Parlay picks for tonight.

Along with our NHL Same Game Parlay picks, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

Rangers ML (+142)

Under 5.5 goals (-140)

Artemi Panarin over 0.5 points (-220)

Parlay odds +395

New York Rangers ML (+142) over Florida Panthers

The one and only leg that didn’t hit for us in Game 5 was the Rangers money line. Not only is that frustrating in itself, but it was a game in which New York was actually looking like the better team. Even though the series was tied 2-2 at the time, Florida had been the better team for the majority of all 4 games. So, to see the Rangers finally take control and not be able to capitalize was a huge loss for them. Of course, the fact that they’re now on the road on the brink of elimination makes it an even more significant loss.

Although they fell off a bit after that dominant first period on Thursday night, we expect them to come out even stronger with their Stanley Cup dreams on the line. They’re no strangers to this position either, as they’ve been underdogs throughout this series, even on the road. Consider grabbing New York’s first period puck line, but since that can’t be used within SGPs, the first leg of our Rangers vs Panthers Same Game Parlay picks is on the overall money line.

Under 5.5 goals (-140)

The leg of our Rangers vs Panthers Same Game Parlay picks regarding the total has been great to us, which should come as no surprise. Entering the series, it was expected to be a low-scoring one, and that’s thanks to 2 incredible goaltenders. Until New York was just put on the brink of elimination, Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin was the overall favorite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy. If they’re able to get through this series and hoist the Stanley Cup, it’s all but a foregone conclusion that he’ll win it.

However, we still need to focus on tonight, and low-scoring games have been in the cards throughout the Eastern Conference Finals. Four of the 5 games have finished with 5 goals or fewer, and even the outlier was a strange contest that went to double overtime. Shesterkin had over 100 shots peppered at him, and the Rangers still won, so another New York victory in low-scoring fashion is how we’re approaching Game 6.

Artemi Panarin over 0.5 points (-220)

Now it’s time to wrap up our Rangers vs Panthers Same Game Parlay picks with a player prop. These are the markets that have been the best for us, most recently evidenced by Mika Zibanejad recording a point. This time, we’re focused on the Bread Man. That would be Artemi Panarin, who has been a point machine for the Rangers.

He’s one of the best assist men in the NHL (71 was the 4th-most) while also having an incredible shot (his 49 goals were the 5th-most). That led him to a remarkable 120-point season, which was also the 4th-most in the league. All that adds up to Panarin needing to be the one to help the Rangers rally. That’s especially true with Adam Fox not having his best postseason, and the Bread Man had 2 points when these teams were last in Florida for Game 4.
