Even though the NFL season is a couple of months away, the summer is always a big time of year in the sports world with the NBA and NHL playoffs in progress. The summer of 2021 is certainly no exception, as the Euro 2020 (currently underway) was pushed back by 12 months because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Tokyo Olympics did the same. Don’t forget about Major League Baseball, either.
At Pickswise, our picks in all four of the aforementioned sports — baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer — have been in fine form. In fact, on Sunday we cashed parlays in Major League Baseball, the NBA and Euro 2020.
On the diamond, both the Cincinnati Reds and Toronto Blue Jays were money line winners and the Indians vs. Mariners game successfully went over the 7.5 runs total. That three-leg parlay paid out at +478.
On the NBA hardwood, we had little trouble hitting on each of Sunday’s two playoff showdowns. The Bucks were easy money line winners over the Nets and the Suns capped off a dominant series against the Nuggets by covering a -3 spread. Along with the Milwaukee-Brooklyn contest staying under the 229.5 total, that three-leg parlay cashed out at +682 odds.
Our biggest winner of a productive Sunday at the office came in Euro 2020. Our three best bets of the day were England to beat Croatia, Austria to beat North Macedonia and both teams to score (a +360 play), and both teams to score in the Netherlands vs. Ukraine match. We put all three plays in a parlay, too, and all three hit for a parlay payout of +1529.
